A few updates this week:
Sugar:- Katelyn got a 2 week break from chemo drugs the past couple weeks.
- She started a new phase in her chemotheraphy which means new drugs and no crazy cravings:)
- Her blood counts are higher than ever!
Lemons: - Her new medicine will cause her blood counts to go down, but we are hopeful that if she is starting out with such hight blood count levels will help counter with how low the counts will go.
- Some side effects to her new drugs may result in in high fevers which = hospital stays
But Katelyn is remaining positive and looks forward to feeling better soon and grateful for all her friends and family's prayers, love and support! It keeps her going:)
