Rough Week- Weekend
- Thursday afternoon, due to much Chemo the past month Katelyn's immune level has been close to zero. Because of the lowness, unfortunately Katelyn ran a high fever at home, & our family decided she needed to go to the hospital, to make sure she was alright.
- While in the hospital she caught a stomach bug that kept her in longer than we planned. Then Friday night, her blood pressure dropped and nurses and interns panicked and sent her to the PICU for the next 24 hours. Naturally, Katelyn freaked out about going to the PICU and her blood pressure rose:) and her vitals stayed normal.
- When the doctors were convinced she was fine they let her go back to her room late Saturday afternoon. Finally Sunday afternoon, after being monitored for everything for 24 hours, she returned home! It was whirlwind of a weekend but we made it through and Katelyn really hates fevers!
